(GREENSBORO, N.C.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team ended play on Tuesday at the 36-hole O'Briant-Jensen Memorial hosted by Guilford College on The Cardinal by Pete Dye Course in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Tartans carded a 321 and finished sixth in the 21-team field with a 612 (291-321).

How it Happened:

  • Freshman Leonardo Vieira led the Tartans on Tuesday with a 77 and ended with a 151 (74-77).
  • Junior David Zhang also ended play with a 36-hole score of 151(69-81) and tied Vieira for 20th individually in a field of 108 golfers.
  • Junior Jay Saluja and Sophomore Ryan Dannegger both ended the memorial with a 156. Saluja carded rounds of 73-and 83 while Dannegger fired rounds of 77 and 78.
  • Senior Justin Chan finished with a 159 (75-84).
