Bio

Nick Dunn began his head coaching tenure with the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team in 2014-15 and also serves as the assistant women's golf coach. In Dunn's first season, he led the team to two tournament victories, a second-place finish at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships and a school record for lowest two-round total.

Dunn also mentored four All-UAA honorees including the program's first individual medalist in six years along with three PING Mid-Atlantic Region award winners.

Dunn has been an assistant golf professional at the Longue Vue Club in Verona, Pennsylvania, since 2009. He has also worked at the Ace Club in Lafayette Hills, Pennsylvania, and Pine Crest Country Club in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Over the course of his career, Dunn has been a teacher, administrator and golf instructor. He has developed expertise in course management, club fittings and supervising tournaments through his role at Longue Vue, which has been the home of Carnegie Mellon golf for years.

A 2011 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, Dunn received a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management, specializing in professional golf management.  He also earned a minor in business administration.   

Dunn currently is in the process of becoming a Class A PGA Professional.
