Moskowitz Named to All-ECAC Team

(DANBURY, Conn.) – Junior Jacob Moskowitz (Wilmette, Ill. / New Trier Township) represents the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team on the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Men's Soccer Team, as announced by the ECAC Tuesday afternoon. Moskowitz is the second Tartan to earn the award under the new structure started in 2017 and 10th player since 2013 to be recognized by the ECAC.

Moskowitz was selected to the All-ECAC Second Team after starting at central defender all season for the 11-5-3 Tartans who finished the season in the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a final national ranking of 18. Last month, Moskowitz earned his first post-season accolade when he was named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Second Team.

The Tartans recorded seven shutouts with a goals against average of 0.84. Moskowitz recorded two assists for the season while leading the defensive front for the Tartans.
