Bio
Spencer Wolfe joined the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer staff as an assistant coach to work with the goalkeepers in the fall of 2024.
Sophomore Kai Yamamoto earned honorable mention accolades from the University Athletic Association (UAA) coaches after recording three shutouts and an overall record of 4-2-4 under Wolfe's tutelage during his first year with the Tartans.
Wolfe is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2018) where he studied accounting after transferring from La Roche University where he competed on the men's soccer team and set records for all-time shutouts (11) and single-season shutouts (6) as a goalkeeper for the Redhawks. Wolfe is a native of Imperial, Pennsylvania, where he helped West Allegheny win the 2013 WPIAL Championship and finish as a state runner-up.
Wolfe also played for a season at the University of Worcester in the United Kingdom in 2018.
Wolfe's coaching background includes working as the goalkeeper coach for Beadling Soccer Club and previously with SCS United in the Greater Pittsburgh Area since 2017.
