2012-13
Eddie became a UAA Champion and school record holder at the same meet when he won the 100-yard freestyle in a career-best time of 45.82 and sprinted to a school record in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.90 at the UAA Championships. With his career-best times, Eddie provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in both freestyle events as well as the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay and 800-yard medley relay. The 200-yard freestyle relay earned third place the UAA Championships in a time of 1:23.72. Another career-best time for Eddie happened at the UAA Championships in the 200-yard freestyle when he finished in 1:41.92.
2011-12
Eddie finished first on the team in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle when he recorded season-best times of 21.39 and 46.68, respectively, at the Total Performance Invitational hosted by Kenyon College. At that same meet, Eddie recorded a season-best time of 54.79 in the 100-yard backstroke.
2010-11
Eddie opened his collegiate career with an All-UAA third-team finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. He transitioned from backstroke to freestyle during the year and finished third on the team in the 50-yard freestyle (21.74) and 100-yard freestyle (47.40). He also recorded best times of 54.89 in the 100-yard backstroke and 2:01.21 in the 200-yard backstroke.
