(TRAFFORD, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University softball team gave 20th-ranked Brandeis University its second loss of the season with a 2-1 win to start the four-game series on Friday, April 19. With the second game being postponed until Sunday, April 21, the Tartans are now 10-19 overall and 3-10 in the University Athletic Association (UAA), while the Judges move to 21-2-1 and 7-2.
