McGee Earns UAA Pitcher of the Week for Third Time

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University junior Scotty McGee (Huntington Beach, Calif. / Huntington Beach) was honored by the University Athletic Association (UAA) on Tuesday as the UAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. The honor marks the third of the year for McGee.

The junior right-handed pitcher recorded her fourth shutout of the season and defeated Oberlin by a 5-0 score last week while scattering three hits and striking out eight. That brings her season totals to 82 strikeouts with a 1.27 ERA and a 6-0 win-loss record

McGee and the Tartans will face Hiram College for a doubleheader tomorrow with a 3:30 p.m. start.
