Sudjianto Named Academic All-America

(AUSTIN, Texas) – Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named to the 2025 Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Sudjianto landed a spot on the third and marks the third time a women's golfer has been named to the Academic All-America team in program history.

Sudjianto helped the Tartans to their fifth straight NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships and sixth appearance in program history this past season where they were national runner-up after the Tartans captured the first NCAA Division III Championship for any women's program in Carnegie Mellon University history and second national title for the school during the 2023-24 season.

Sudjianto had a scoring average of 73.8 in 20 rounds. She claimed her third collegiate individual medalist honor this season at the Deb Jackson Invitational. Sudjianto carded a season-low round of three-under par on two different occasions this season, the first at the Jekyll Island Collegiate and the second at the Deb Jackson. In all, she has four top-three performances this season and 12 for her career, tying her for second most for a career in program history. Her three career individual medalist honors also rank tied for second in program history.

In the classroom, Sudjianto carried a 4.00 GPA for graduate courses in artificial intelligence engineering - mechanical engineering. She has been named a WGCA All-America Scholar five times and is a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Sudjianto is a five-time Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America, garnering first team accolades on four occasions.
