(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The sixth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team defeated the visiting Grove City College Wolverines on Wednesday, September 18 behind a pair of goals by sophomore Saveria Ulizzi. The Tartans are now 3-0-3 for the season while Grove City is 3-2-1.

- The Tartans held a 1-0 lead at halftime after a 41st-minute goal by freshman Nicole Lazarakis off an assist from junior Sophia Bastek and sophomore Natalie Rayce. It was her first career score.
