Tartans Host Annual Diving Invitational

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's diving team hosted and competed at the CMU Diving Invitational on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.

  • Senior Kelli Kuramoto placed second on the 1M springboard with 446.55 points. Her top-scoring dive was 5233d (Back 1.5 somersault with 1.5 twists), earning 7.0s from the judges. She also placed 10th on the 3M, earning 369.25 points.
  • Freshman Cat Bryan placed sixth on the 1M springboard, earning 415.05 points. She also placed eighth on the 3M, earning 370.10 points.
  • Junior Kyndall Tatum placed eighth on the 1M springboard, earning 393.50 points. She also placed 9th on the 3M, earning 369.50 points.

Notes

  • Kuramoto and Bryan both meet the NCAA Regional Diving qualifying standard on the 1M for the first time this season.
