Two Tartan Women Compete at Gator Invitational

(MEADVILLE, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team had two athletes compete at the 7th Annual Gator Invitational hosted by Allegheny College on Friday, May 10.

Junior Jacqueline Guevel (Dallas, Texas/The Hockaday School) won the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 1:01.96.  The junior also competed in the 100-meter hurdles where she placed third with a time of 14.65.

Sophomore Erin Kiekhaefer (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) took eight-place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.81.
