Yee Earns UAA Honor

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Grace Yee (San Francisco, Calif./Lick-Wilmerding) of the Carnegie Mellon University women's outdoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for field events following her performance at the Carnegie Mellon Mini Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 24-25.

Yee broke the school outdoor pole vault record after clearing the bar at 3.68 meters, which won the event. Her height currently is tops in the UAA and eighth nationally. The previous outdoor school record was 3.51 meters, a mark set by Yee last season.

The Tartans will host the Carnegie Mellon Quad on Saturday, April 1 with field events set to start at 10:00 a.m.
