Barre Withdraws from Competition at NCAA Outdoor Championships

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Senior Liz Barre of the Carnegie Mellon University women's outdoor track and field team withdrew from competition at the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday due to injury. The championships are being held at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex in Rochester, New York. Barre started to compete Thursday morning in the heptathlon and was set to also compete in the long jump Thursday afternoon and 100-meter hurdles on Friday.
