Tartans End Regular Season with a Pair of Wins

(GENESO, N.Y.) – The Carnegie Mellon University's volleyball team finished their weekend at the SUNY Geneso Invitational with back-to-back wins against Rochester Institute of Technology and Fredonia State University. The pair of victories gives the Cardinal and Gray a 21-7 overall record.

• The Tartans won the first set 25-15 and then lost the second set 25-22 with a six-point streak in both sets by the Tartans.
• The Tartans came back with two dominant sets winning by the scores of 25-11 in the third set and 25-15 in the fourth set.
• Senior Avani Seshiah led the team offensively with 15 kills.
• Freshman Neha Tummala collected 39 assists.
• Freshman Zoe Gavros collected 15 digs, followed by junior Abby Chen with 14.

• The Tartans won 3-0, the first 25-13, the second 25-21, and the third 25-18.
• The Tartans opened the first set with a 12-point run.
• Seshiah led the team offensively with 11 kills, followed by sophomore Kai Herchenroether with eight.

• Senior Laura Reichard had 13 digs.
