Tartans Place Fifth at UAA Championships
(CLEVELAND, Ohio) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team placed fifth at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships on Saturday, October 28 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Race Information (top 5 team finishes) New York University 34, University of Chicago 46, Washington University 71, Emory University 95, Carnegie Mellon University 164.
Location: Hunting Valley, Ohio (University Farm)
Results
- Sophomore Orit Shiang led the Tartans, finishing 23rd with a time of 23:02.9.
- Sophomore Margaret Ann Healy finished 37th in 23:39.5.
- Senior Isabella Rhee and freshman Maya Ducker finished 40th and 41st with times of 23:41.8 and 23:42.7.
- Junior Alyssa Hoffman finished 45th with a time of 24:01.3
- The 47th, 48th, 49th, and 52nd places were taken by junior Avery Tompkins, Lauryn McKenna, Jackie Liu, and Sophia Zalewski.
Notes
- This is Ducker's and Rhee's first appearance in the UAA Cross Country Championships.
