Michael is a founding partner of Sichenzia Ross Ference LLP, where he has practiced for the past 22 years, and is a nationally recognized expert in the Securities Litigation and Arbitration arenas. Michael represents clients in actions and investigations brought before governmental agencies and self-regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), various state agencies and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He has represented dozens of public, private and not-for-profit corporations, FINRA member firms, as well as hundreds of securities industry registered personnel. In his Corporate Finance practice, Michael represents public and private companies, underwriters and investment funds in a broad range of federal and state securities laws and investment and capital-raising transactions, including public offerings, PIPEs, private equity, debt and venture capital transactions.

Michael has regularly appeared on several nationally televised business news programs including The American Consumer, BusinessWeek Money Talks and The Smart Consumer where he discusses the legal implications of various business issues confronting corporations and individuals.

Since 2008 Michael has annually been selected to the New York Super Lawyers list and has an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell for both ethical standards and legal ability.

Michael was named an Andrew Carnegie Scholar and graduated from CMU in 1991 with University Honors and a B.S. in Policy and Management, and received his M.S.I.A. (MBA) from the Tepper School of Business 1992. Michael graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1995, where he was a member of the school's Moot Court National Team and Moot Court Honor Society and received two Jacob Burns' medals for academic excellence.

At CMU Michael played on the men’s soccer and men’s tennis teams. He was a three-year captain of the men’s tennis team and in 1990, as captain, he led the men’s tennis team to a sweep of the President’s Athletic Conference championship where the team won all nine position titles. While he was a graduate student pursuing his MBA at Tepper, Michael served as the assistant coach of both the men’s and women’s tennis teams under head coach Pete Moss.

Michael currently lives in Demarest, New Jersey with his wife Noelle and their three children.
