Four Tartans Earn All-Academic Honors From USTFCCCA

Each class year was represented as four Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country members were named to the All-Academic team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Schnepf Races Well in 280 Person NCAA Field

Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Rekha Schnepf (McLean, Va./Thomas Jefferson HS for Sci. & Tech) took to the cross country course at Hanover College on Saturday, November 23 for the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships. She was the first individual to compete on the national stage for the Tartans since the 2011 season.

Only in her sophomore season, Rekha Schnepf (McLean, Va./Thomas Jefferson HS for Sci. & Tech), of the Carnegie Mellon University of the women's cross country team, has wasted no time mounting herself as an elite runner and has received her first automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Championship.
Tartans Place Seventh at Regional Meet

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team finished seventh at the 2013 Mideast Regional on Saturday, November 16, at Lehigh University in Allentown, Pa. Sophomore Rekha Schnepf (McLean, Va./Thomas Jefferson HS for Sci. & Tech) crossed the line 25th overall as the first finisher for the Tartans.
Tartans Host UAA Championships; Finish Eighth

On a cold and windy morning, the Carnegie Mellon University women’s cross country team hosted the 2013 University Athletic Association Championships, finishing eighth overall while University of Chicago ran to a first-place finish.
Tartans Take Third Place in Home Invitational

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team finished third at its home invitational on Saturday at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pa. The race started with clouds above and finished with plenty of sunshine over the five kilometer course.
Tartans Compete at the Greater Louisville Classic

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team competed at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday, October 5. The race had a field of 329 runners from Division I, II and III with the Tartans placing 11th out of 26 Non Division I institutions.
Tartans Finish Fifth at Lock Haven Invitational

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team finished fifth at the Lock Haven University Invitational on Saturday, September 2. For the second straight season at the event, the team had one top 10 finisher as it competed against 15 teams.
Tartans Win Mack Cooper Invitational; Five Tartans Finish in Top 10

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team had five runners place in the top 10 at the Mack Cooper Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University at Cooper's Lake Campground to win the invitational. Junior Erin Kiekhaefer (Palo Alto, Calif.) paced the Tartans with a time of 23:40.99 to place second.
Tartans Open Season at Duquesne

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team opened its 2013 season at the Duquesne Duals in Schenley Park Saturday, August 31. The Tartan were the only non-Division I team competing in the event.
