Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Rekha Schnepf (McLean, Va./Thomas Jefferson HS for Sci. & Tech) took to the cross country course at Hanover College on Saturday, November 23 for the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships. She was the first individual to compete on the national stage for the Tartans since the 2011 season.

Sophomore Rekha Schnepf (McLean, Va./Thomas Jefferson HS for Sci. & Tech) crossed the line 25th overall as the first finisher for the Tartans.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team competed at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday, October 5. The race had a field of 329 runners from Division I, II and III with the Tartans placing 11th out of 26 Non Division I institutions.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team finished fifth at the Lock Haven University Invitational on Saturday, September 2. For the second straight season at the event, the team had one top 10 finisher as it competed against 15 teams.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team had five runners place in the top 10 at the Mack Cooper Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University at Cooper's Lake Campground to win the invitational. Junior Erin Kiekhaefer (Palo Alto, Calif.) paced the Tartans with a time of 23:40.99 to place second.
