Alla Completes Season at NCAA Quarterfinals

(MASON, Ohio) - Junior Abhishek Alla (Hyderabad, India/IMG Pendleton School) competed at the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championship on Friday, May 22 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. Alla advanced to the quarterfinals on Friday after winning two straight set matches Thursday afternoon.

In the quarterfinals, Alla faced top seeded Warren Wood of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.  The junior won the first set 6-2 before dropping a heartbreaking 7-6 (7-5) second set forcing a third.  In the third set, Alla ended his season after falling 6-2.

Alla, garnered his second straightall-America honor after advancing to the round of 16 yesterday.  He finished the season with an overall singles mark of 25-12.
