McLaughlin Receives Second Weekly UAA Accolade

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – For the second time this season, Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Colin McLaughlin (Stamford, Conn./Westhill) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Friday, September 30.

McLaughlin led the Tartans to a top finish at the 45-team brown race. He crossed first for the Tartans and eighth overall in a field of 403 runners with a time of 24:12.0 on the 8k course.

The Tartans will run next on their home course at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Schenley Park on Saturday, October 8.
