Five Tartans Named WGCA All-American Scholars

(CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.) – For the third straight season, five members of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team have been named to the 2021-22 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the organization. Senior Nadia Susanto (Irvine, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman), junior Alexis Sudjianto (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Latin School), sophomore Denise Pan (Houston, Texas/St. John's School) and freshmen Sriya Mupparaju (San Diego, Calif./Del Norte) and Kaylin Yeoh (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) all were recognized. It also marks the fifth straight year four or more have been recognized.

This is the fourth accolade for Susanto and second for Sudjianto and Pan while Mupparaju and Yeoh were honored for the first time.

A total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers were recognized from NCAA Division I, II and III. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

All five helped the Tartans to their second straight and third appearance in program history to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship where they placed tied for fourth.
