Tartans in Third After Opening Round of the Golfweek DIII Fall Invite

(MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team started play at the 2022 Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational held in Miramar Beach, Florida, on Sunday. The Tartans carded a team score of 297 and are currently in third out of 24 teams for the 54-hole event.

How it Happened:

• Sophomore Sense Sangkagoon led the Cardinal and Gray after she tied her collegiate-low round of two-under par 70 and is second individually in a field of 120 golfers.
• Sophomore Sriya Mupparaju shot a three-over par 75.
• Senior Alexis Sudjianto and sophomore Kaylin Yeoh both ended play with a 76.
• The final card to be scored for the Tartans on Sunday was an 81 by sophomore Reeya Vasishta.
