Tartans Tied for Fourth After First Round of Savannah Invitational

(POOLER, Ga.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team, ranked sixth nationally, opened play at the 36-hole Savannah Invitational on Monday hosted by Berry College. The Tartans carded a team score of 310 and are currently tied for fourth.

How it Happened:

  • Senior Alexis Sudjianto and sophomore Kaylin Yeoh both fired a five-over par 77. The two are tied for 15th individually in a field of 95 golfers.
  • Three Tartans entered the clubhouse on Monday after carding rounds of 78, junior Denise Pan along with sophomores Sense Sangkagoon and Sriya Mupparaju.
  • The Tartans had one individual compete at the event, as sophomore Reeya Vasishta carded a four-over par 76 and is tied for 11th.
