Tartans Place Second at Savannah Invitational
(POOLER, Ga.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team, ranked sixth nationally, completed play at the 36-hole Savannah Invitational on Tuesday hosted by Berry College. The Tartans carded a team score of 310 in the final round and placed second with a 620 (310-310).
Inside the Intercollegiate:
Tournament Finish: 2nd of 18 Teams
Tournament Team Champion: Emory, 600 (303-297)
Tournament Individual Medalist: Sarah Hsu, Oglethorpe (+1)

How it Happened:
- After carding a birdie on her final hole Tuesday, sophomore Sriya Mupparaju fired a three-over par 75 day two, as she finished the event with a 153 (78-75).
- Sophomore Kaylin Yeoh also finished the invitational with a 36-hole score of 153 (77-76). Mupparaju and Yeoh tied for 11th individually in a field of 95 golfers.
- Junior Denise Pan shot a 77 in the second round and ended with a 155 (78-77)
- Senior Alexis Sudjianto carded a 159 (77-82)
- Sophomore Sense Sangkagoon shot a 161 (78-83).
- The Tartans had one individual compete at the event, as sophomore Reeya Vasishta ended the 36-hole event with a 156 (76-80).

- The Tartans will be back on the links Saturday, March 11, when they compete at the University Athletic Association Championships. The two-day match play event is hosted by New York at Harbor Hills Country Club in Lady Lake, Florida.
