Tartans Place Second at UAA Match Play Championship
(LADY LAKE, Fla.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team competed in the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship match play final Sunday against Emory University and dropped a 3-2 decision. The two-day championship was played at Harbor Hills Country Club in Lady Lake, Florida.

How it Happened:
- Junior Denise Pan lost to Katie Park 2-up
- Sophomore Sriya Mupparaju defeated Cindy Wang 1-up
- Senior Alexis Sudjianto defeated Irene Wang 3&2
- Sophomore Sense Sangkagoon lost to Sharon Mun 5&4
- Sophomore Kaylin Yeoh lost to Ellen Dong 3&2
- Mupparaju was named to the All-Tournament team after winning both of her matches during the championships.
- It was the second straight season the Tartans lost to Emory in the championship match.
