(GLEN ALLEN, Va.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team opened play at the 36-hole Max and Susan Stith Invitational on Monday hosted by Randolph–Macon College. The Tartans carded a team score of 303 and are currently in fourth.

How it Happened:

  • Senior Alexis Sudjianto led the Cardinal and Gray in the opening round with a round of even par 72. She is currently tied for second individually in a field of 75 golfers.
  • Junior Denise Pan carded a three-over par 75.
  • Sophomore Sriya Mupparaju entered the clubhouse with a 76 on Monday.
  • Sophomores Kaylin Yeoh and Sense Sangkagoon both fired rounds of 80.
  • The Tartans had one individual compete at the event, as sophomore Reeya Vasishta tied her collegiate-low round of one-over par 73 and is tied for fifth.
