Tartans Lead Savannah Invitational Following Opening Round
(SAVANNAH, Ga.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team opened play at the 36-hole Savannah Invitational on Monday hosted by Berry College. The Tartans carded a team score of 296 and are currently first in a field of 18 teams.

How it Happened:
- Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto and freshman Samantha Wang led the Tartans both shooting even par 72 and are tied for third individually in a field of 97 golfers.
- Junior Sriya Mupparaju sits a stroke back of Sudjianto and Wang after carding a one-over par 73.
- Sophomore Sense Sangkagoon finished the opening round with a 79.
- Senior Denise Pan fired an 80 on Monday.
- Two individuals competed for the Tartans with sophomore Wenna Zhang carding a two-over par 74 and freshman Nikita Jadhav shooting a 78.
