Sudjianto Named UAA Women’s Golfer of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week following her play in leading the Tartans to their fifth tournament victory of the season with an 11-stroke victory at the Capitol Hill Classic on Tuesday in Prattville, Alabama.

Sudjianto finished the rain-shorten 27-hole classic with a score of even par after firing a two-under over the final nine holes of the event. She garnered individual medalist hoors in a field of 68 golfers, was the second for her collegiate career. The other came in her first year when she won the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational.

This season, Sudjianto is averaging 73.2 per round.
