Tartans Finish Third at Deb Jackson Invitational
(MUSCLE SHORES, Ala.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team carded a 296 in the final round of the 54-hole Deb Jackson Invitational on Tuesday hosted by Emory University. The Tartans ended the event with a team score of 892 (301-295-296) to place third the 10-team event.

How it Happened:
- Junior Sriya Mupparaju placed fourth individually in a field of 56 golfers with a 54-hole score of 219 (74-69-75).
- Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto fired a round of even par on Tuesday and ended with a 223 (77-74-72), placing tied for ninth.
- Freshman Samantha Wang carded three straight rounds of four-over par 76 for a 54-hole score of 228.
- Tying Wang was junior Kaylin Yeoh with a 228 (74-76-78).
- Freshman Nikita Jadhav ended play with a 229 (76-80-73) following her best round of the event on Tuesday, a one-over par 73..
- One individual competed for the Tartans with sophomore Wenna Zhang carding a 244 (81-79-84).
Notes:
- The Tartans 54-hole score of 892 (+28) is the lowest three-round score in program history.
- Mupparaju score of 219 (+3) was the third lowest individual 54-hole total in the program's history.
