Tartans Sit Second Following Opening Round of Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate
(MONTGOMERY, Ala.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team competed in the first round of the 36-hole Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate on Sunday. The Tartans carded a team score of 292 and currently are second at the intercollegiate.

How it Happened:
- Sophomore Nikita Jadhav led the Cardinal and Gray with a round of one-under par 71. Jadhav is tied for fifth individually in a field of 63 golfers.
- Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto and freshman Cecilia Jia both entered the clubhouse on Sunday with rounds of even par 72.
- Senior Sriya Mupparaju fired a 77.
- Senior Kaylin Yeoh ended play on Sunday with a 79.
