Women’s Soccer Celebrates 25 Years on Homecoming

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Eighty alumni were in the stands as the 18th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team took on two nationally ranked University Athletic Association opponents on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30. The program celebrated its 25th Anniversary of varsity competition with a weekend full of events.

On Friday, a tailgate meet and greet brought all the alumni together with current players and families. Saturday, the alumni casually played with the current team in the morning before a luncheon at Il Teto with 150 alum, family members, friends, former coaches and managers.

The weekend wrapped up with the Tartans defeating sixth-ranked University of Chicago in overtime and a brunch with alumni.
