The Carnegie Mellon University men’s and women’s track and field teams had 40 Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors awarded to its athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2024 indoor track and field season. Twenty-six represent the men while 15 represent the women with six men receiving multiple honors and three women.

Aldrich Named USA Track and Field Throws Coach for 2024 Paris Olympics

Gary Aldrich, head coach of the Carnegie Mellon University track and field teams, has been named to the U.S.A. men’s coaching staff as the Throws Coach for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This marks Aldrich's eighth coaching stint on the international stage and second straight at the Olympics after holding the same position for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
