Bio
Joanna Lau is a flutist who is deeply interested in the intersection of music and health. A founding member of CMU’s Scottie Sound Bath, she is passionate about creating sonic experiences that allow participants to feel centered and calm, both physically and mentally.
Outside of Scottie Sound Bath, Joanna is a currently pursuing a Master of Music in Flute Performance, studying with Lorna McGhee. Joanna has a degree in Neuroscience from Harvard and also enjoys writing, drinking coffee, and sleeping.
