Tartans Place 14 on Basketball and Swimming & Diving Academic All-District Teams

Fourteen men’s and women’s basketball and swimming and diving Carnegie Mellon University student-athletes were named to a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, nominated by members of CSC, for the fall season. College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) rebranded to CSC in the summer of 2022.

Tartans Earn More Awards, Place Eighth at NCAA Championships

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s swimming and diving team finished competition at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, March 23 with another All-American performance by freshman Brayden Morford and placed eighth with 161 team points. The eighth-place finish marks the best finish for the program since 2005 when the team was sixth.
Tartans Continue to Break Records on Third Day of NCAAs

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s swimming and diving team competed on the third day of the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships with four appearances in the finals. The Tartans broke a school record for the third day in a row. The Tartans are currently in seventh place with 131 points.

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s swimming and diving team continued action at the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday, March 21. A school record was broken, with the Tartans holding down eighth place with 89 points at the Greensboro Aquatics Center.
