The 15th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team opened University Athletic Association (UAA) play on Friday at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida, with a 5-3 setback to 13th-ranked Case Western Reserve University. The Tartans moved to 11-6 overall while the Spartans are now 14-4.
