Tartans Win Final Game Against UChicago

The Carnegie Mellon University softball team completed their three-game series against the University of Chicago on Sunday, April 6. After splitting play on Friday, the Tartans won Sunday’s game 6-3. This puts them at 9-13 overall for the season and 2-4 in the University Athletic Association (UAA), while the Maroons are at 12-12 overall and 1-5 in the UAA.

The Tartans started off strong winning the first game 2-1, but were defeated by the Maroons in the second game 5-1. This puts the Tartans at 8-13 overall and 1-4 in the conference, while the Maroons are at 12-11 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
